THE STROKE TEST

The acronym F.A.S.T. is used to spot symptoms of a stroke. It stands for:

F ace - Ask the person to smile, is there facial drooping on one side?
A rms - Can the person raise both arms? Dopes on side drift down?
S peech - Do they have trouble speaking or slur words? Can they repeat a simple sentence?
T ime - Time is critical, if any one of the symptoms are present get help immediately.
